Hello to all of my wonderful Host Families and Au Pairs! I am pleased to announce our upcoming Winter Family Event!

What: Winter Family Event
Date: January 23, 2009
Time: 1:30-3PM
Where: Revolution ice rink located at 12 Old Boston Rd., Pittston, PA (For any other question regarding the rink call 570-883-1100)
Who: All Host Families (yes, even the kids), all Au Pairs, and their friends
Cost: $6 per person, including the skate rental

This is a great time to meet other families and au pairs in the program! There will also be prizes and raffles– for each friend you bring you get an entry! Of course, there will be plenty of skating and fun!

Remember, each family is to attend at least of the two Events held each year. Let’s not miss out on this opportunity! This event will also count towards the monthly meeting for all au pairs.

NOTE: each parent will be responsible for supervising their own children. The au pairs will not be working at this time, as this is counted as their meeting.

Hello to all families and Au Pairs! I hope that everyone had a fun and safe weekend, celebrating the freedom of our nation. I am writing to let you know that the July Au Pair meeting will be on Tuesday the 21st at 8 PM at a location yet to be determined. As a reminder, Au Pair meetings are mandatory and all meeting information will be on the calendar, so do visit often. Because I have not met most of you yet, we will spend a significant portion of the meeting getting to know one another, so come prepared to share something interesting about yourself and your country, as well as any significant experiences as an Au Pair. Hello everyone! Just want to take a minute to introduce myself to you. My name is Luda Sukhanov and I will be your new LCC for this area. I am originally from Ukraine and moved to the U.S. with my family in 1995. I have my Bachelor’s degree in counseling and am currently working on my Master’s, also in counseling. In addition, I have many years of experience working with children of all different backgrounds and ages.

I hope that you will take a minute to explore the site and become a little bit more familiar with what Cultural Care Au Pair and I have to offer:

Home- On the home page you will see any new posts or upcoming events and meetings
Calendar- The Calendar will be your source for all scheduled meetings and events. I have also included many international holidays for your leisure (which may also become a source of inspiration for fun events in the future )
Photos- This page will eventually grow to have many more pictures of our meetings and events
